From a small farm in Lipa to homes across the world
Mira's Food and Agriventure began as a humble endeavor by Almira Silva, the wife of an overseas Filipino worker, to support her family. Today it stands as a testament to resilience, innovation, and the impact of empowering communities.

2014 · The beginning
A small decision on the farm
Almira ventured into piggery and organic farming in San Salvador, Lipa City, Batangas. With no formal plans to expand, she started planting turmeric and ginger on a small portion of the farm to make use of their organic compost. This small decision became the foundation of a thriving business.
Planting seeds of success
From 67 kilos to 1,400 kilos
In just a year, Almira harvested an astounding 1,400 kilos of turmeric and ginger, far beyond her initial 67 kilos. With buyers offering low prices, she decided to add value by processing her harvest into salabat (ginger tea) powder. With only Php 1,000 capital and home equipment meant for meat processing, she developed her first batch, drawing on her passion for cooking and online tutorials.
Scaling amid challenges
From 10 kilos to 300 kilos a day
Starting with just 10 kilos of turmeric a day, the business now processes 300 kilos daily, meeting soaring demand from retail stores, pasalubong outlets, major supermarkets like Robinsons and SM, and international distributors. Despite sleepless nights and overwhelming orders, the growth now sustains 24 workers and countless farmers in the value chain.

Mira's sources raw materials from local farmers and cooperatives, providing sustainable livelihoods for communities in Batangas and beyond. Housewives also benefit as distributors, earning extra income for their families.
Today
From humble beginnings to industry leadership
Mira's is now a leader in natural health products, offering turmeric brews, ginger teas, and herbal powders nationwide and globally. Almira remains steadfast in her mission to bring wellness to families, uplift Filipino farmers, and honor her faith through every product crafted.
